With the new Miris 2 composite system developed in collaboration with Dr. Didier Dietschi, Coltène/Whaledent provide detailed refinement to the previous MIRIS system. The shade assortment has been modified and the vitality optimised. Miris 2 is still based on the natural layering concept, which works with dentin and enamel masses whose optical properties are comparable with those of the original tissue. The unique, composite-based Miris 2 shade matching system is therefore separated into dentin and enamel shade guides that can be freely interposed with one another to achieve an aesthetically optimal definition of shade.
